Bio Rod Johnson For N.E.C. news release For the majority of the human experience man has depended
upon the manufacturing of stone tools for their daily existence, survival and
defense. Experience the world’s oldest and most continually practiced craft as presented
by Expert Flint-knapper and Archaeologist Rod Johnson. For over 25 years, Mr. Johnson has worked both a-vocationally
and professionally in the field of Archaeology and is the current President of
the Minnesota Archaeological Society. He has presented many talks and demonstrations
on several archaeological topics, including presenting a lunch hour talk and
demonstration at the 2008 Nobel Conference held at Gustavus Adolphus College,
St. Peter, MN. Mr. Johnson will also be presenting power point talks
on “Preservation of the Archaeological Record” (Saturday March 6th) and “The
Amazing Rock – The How to of Flint-knapping” (Sunday March 7th). |
